The journey starts here

When I first set up this site using Al-folio template, the project page was the first thing to go. That’s because I rarely “finish” projects! By finish, I mean reaching the vision I originally imagined. And what’s the point of showcasing something if it’s not “complete”?

But then I started to reflect on why I never seem to finish. It’s not because I’m lazy or constantly jumping between ideas. The truth is, I enjoy the process far more than the final result. The real excitement and learning happen during the journey. So, why should I force myself to cross an arbitrary finish line? I realized I was okay with this. In fact, I kind of loved it.

Still, there’s value in sharing. Not because I expect people to flock to my site to offer feedback (though that would be amazing). Rather, it’s about organizing my thoughts and efforts—about creating a space to reflect on what I’m doing.

And that’s where the idea for the Journeys page came in. Instead of focusing on completed projects, I’ll write about the process itself—the journey. Hopefully, it will be something useful for readers too and it might inspire someone to start their own journey.
